It gives artists a home and a sustainable lifestyle – where their creativity and the attention it attracts can be promoted without judgement.
Revenues are collected in tokens from creators - and burned before new tokens are emitted to reward creators.
We created the network with a view to correcting many of the problems that have arisen from Web2.0 social media platforms:
• We don’t collect data on user behaviour.
• Content does not have to be backed by adverts.
• Our network is free from advertiser rules.
• And finally, there is no centralised control.
Everything on Panjea is run, moderated and most importantly owned by our users.
Including possibly the most vital function: curation
Rather than simply relying on algorithms to show users the content that best fulfils the aims of the network – users are free to generate their own links – building the network around what it is useful, pertinent and interesting.
Currently Panjea is still in the early phases of production. We have a strong team of 12 dedicated workers and have developed our stage one MVP.
